A slithering start to science week!

We launch science week on the Friday 12th March 2010 with an exciting visit from Jonathan Jungles Road show. Jonathan will be visiting the Academy with a wide range of tropical species of invertebrates and reptiles including a Boa Constrictor, Leopard Geko, Mexican redleg Tarantula and many more, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to handle some of these amazing exotic species. Also the week will include:
  • A science assembly to all faculties.
  • Exciting practical’s with a bang in science club.
  • During lessons students will enjoy and participate in making rockets, marshmallow catapults and perfume.
  • The Big debate on evolution takes place on the same evening
  • Tuesday 16.03.2010 as an exciting science and technology fair where students will be presenting their best designed material- including soaps, perfumes, marshmallow catapults and many more.
